Do We All Have A Dream?
We all love to have a dream, don't we?
There is an excitement within us that comes alive when we hit one milestone after the other on our way to the precious objective.
My dream, at the moment, is to get on the scale and see the result. At first, I thought it was silly to have a dream that seems impossible. Then, I decided in my heart this is what I want.
Here's what I am learning on my journey to my ideal weight.
1. Patience - in the face of setbacks, patience is called for not to lose sight of your path.
2. Repetition - keep reviewing your dream while remembering why you chose it.
3. Consistency - one step at a time without worry is a powerful tool to take me closer each day.
4. Meditation - when you quiet the monkey brain and the negative self-talk opens the door to your dream.
5. Release - let go of the pushing and open to the information available to you through your intuitive nature. You are always connected to a source of energy directing you.
6. Don’t brag: show - There is little to be gained by bragging about your preliminary results. Be celebratory to yourself in what you accomplish.
7. Gratitude - For every step you make, be grateful you have the freedom, courage, and vision to do what you are doing.
8. Familiar vs. unfamiliar - when we decide to go for a new result, we take ourselves into the unknown. Our body and mind are programmed to live each day in the familiar zone with people, places, and things. We need to redirect our awareness and emotions in unfamiliar territory.
These critical ideas apply to every area of our lives.
