Two Roads Diverged
“Two Roads Diverged”
These few words are from a poem by Robert Frost, “The Road Not Taken.”
“Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveller, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;……
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less travelled by,
And that has made all the difference.”
When designing your life and I believe we all need to design and reinvent our lives, we must make choices.
Your life evolves, and it surely does, by default or design. You will experience the result of the choices you have made along the way.
The result of these choices will be experienced by conscious decision or by the waves of circumstance to which you have placed yourself.
Ayse Birsel, an industrial designer and author, says, “You can have anything you want if you accept that you can’t have everything.
When designing and thus reinventing your life, you must make choices. Some things will stay and grow, and others will have to go.
The basis for the choice is to know who you are and what you love.
This work takes thought, insight, and practice.
I am a life design thinker. I have researched and developed the Accelerated Reinvention Program because I am passionate about offering tools and skills to those who want to live their life by design.
Are you living your best life?
