Pain Closes the Door - Vision Opens it
The pain caused by the pandemic has closed doors on certain aspects of our lives we never thought we would experience in our lifetime.
I'm sure I don't have to list the personal and business opportunities that have been lost.
We feel victimized in something we did not cause.
Whether emotional, physical, or financial, other sources of pain also have the power to stop us in our tracks.
In moments of reflection, our minds look longingly for a foothold in something more peaceful.
We look for a time and place where pain did not play such a significant role.
I remember my experience with cancer and the powerlessness I felt of something growing in my body over which I had no control.
When we feel victimized, the negative energy lives in our body, mind, and spirit. This allows the victim within to play a more significant part in our life.
The Dalai Lama said, "Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional."
Thank goodness we have the power to choose!
It is time to transform.
Vision opens the door to possibilities.
When I look deeper to see what is beyond the pain, I imagine the way I want to live my life. I contemplate the vision board I have created and see myself enjoying my life beyond current circumstances.
Vision opens the door. Choice walks through it.
