Entropy: The Hidden Catalyst That Calls For Transformation

I have been fascinated by studying the Law of Entropy because it alerts us that we need to transform and change up our life.

Here’s the Law: The second law of thermodynamics states that the degree of disorder (Entropy) increases as all things go forward.

The Greek root of the word translates to “a Turning towards transformation.”

So, everything in our world is subject to a movement toward chaos and disorder. In other words, Entropy increases over time unless we take specific actions to change how we relate to our environment.

We have the abilities, the competence, and the skill to slow down Entropy by recognizing the information we are being given and doing something about it.

So let’s be aware all aspects of our life are evolving all time. Nothing is static.

As an example, I’m seventy-seven years old. The law of Entropy says I am moving toward the end of my life.

If I do nothing, then the end comes sooner than later. The evidence will show up in my health and ability to function daily.

However, when I care for my health and mental state, I can extend the time I am here, lowering the degree of disorder and enjoy my life.

The fact that we know our existence is not static and is continually evolving is very exciting. Most of the time, I don’t think we treat our lives as such.

The law of Entropy gives us clues as to how and what we need to transform because, left to do nothing, we create and live in chaos.
