Boxing Day or Boxing Ring?
The day after. Christmas is a celebration of significant sales in the stores. People line up early to get the best deals, standing in line even if the winter snow and wind are blowing.
Some are successful in getting their prize while others are disappointed.
I wonder if most of us are more in a boxing ring than celebrating boxing day. The boxing ring is a tough place to live every day, and it's like having to fight your way to a store on boxing day, hoping to get the best deal.
We have multiple areas of stress both inside and out.
We box our way through the day from one chaotic moment to the next.
The boxing ring is where we have separated ourselves from the truth of our being.
Stop letting your ego drive your bus. The more you fight your ego, the harder it will keep you doing what you are doing. You'll feel like you're in a fifteen-round boxing match with a superior opponent.
The way out is to love your ego. Thank it for saving your life over the years. Then send it to its room for a rest.
You will have to do this several times until the change takes place and you create a new habit of listening more closely to your heart.
Give yourself a break and step out of the ring, and quietly sit while you take your life back.
You know how to do it.
