Who Do You Follow That's Worth Believing In?

Who Do You Follow that’s Worth Believing In?

You are a light in this world. Did you know that?

When things were going well, you may have forgotten you are the light.

You have worked hard to give to your life, your family, and whatever your work. That is what you have been taught.

The challenge with this picture is that it is hard to see yourself when you are one bright light in the sea with all the other lights in the world.

Now darkness has descended on our world.

In the darkness, your light is critical for you to see what is possible.

The darkness cannot put out your light. Only you can do that.

In these circumstances, it is not a time to seek external approval of who you are. It is a time for you to show others your brightness and give them a possibility where they may not see any.

It is a time for healing so that you will emerge even more brightly.

Many of us have had our light, our essence of self, put down, abused, or somehow constrained so that we have forgotten there is a light source within us.

Perhaps when you were young, you promised yourself you would follow your dreams. I’m sure you had more than one.

Then the reality hit home as the outside world invaded your inside world. You received directions as to how your life is supposed to work.

You learned to make sure to take care of everyone in your life.

That was the way you were able to stay safe.

Now, as an adult, you call it being helpful. The load you carry to support a squadron of people emotionally is almost beyond measure.

This perhaps has you exhausted by the effort you put in every day. As a result, the light within you feels like it has dimmed.

It has not.

In this time of darkness, you must first remember your dreams. They are the clue to show you your light.

You must sit quietly and let yourself remember what you know.

You know who you are.

You have the freedom to choose.

Now is your time.

There was a time when I was about ten years old, and I thought I would be a musician. I remember sitting at the family piano and writing a song. I was sure it would be a hit. The dream faded away with life events that unfolded without my approval.

What happened to your dream?

Adult life happened.

In this time of challenge, we are experiencing is the time to reconnect with your essential light.

This is a particular time in our history to take time for self-realization.

When you reinvent your life, which includes an “I love you…(fill in your name…),” then you are truly able to let your light shine in this dark time.

Who do you follow that’s worth believing in?

It is you.

Allow yourself to remember your dreams.

The you that goes beyond the adaptations of youth and uncovers the bare facts of your truth.

My dream is to help one thousand people to reinvent their lives by assisting them to express their light in the world in a way that makes this world a better place.

What is your dream?

All my best
