Moving Through Your Working Edge

The comfortable place in life is to work and play from the paradigm we have been taught.

I went through the early part of my life, unaware of how what I had learned was affecting how I was living.

Opportunities were evaluated based on how much money I could make and what status I would get.

You could call this description of my life the ordinary life.

However, we all have a working edge beyond which we are uncomfortable and perhaps even fearful of moving.

It is that place that is calling us to engage past the threshold of the familiar.

The reality we face is that life is not static.

It is an ever-evolving set of experiences, emotions, and understandings.

You have the conscious choice to meet life where it is directing you.

That is to say, you can and perhaps should pay attention to the guidance you are being given.

I believe we are always supported in what we chose.

The universal energy has no choice but to follow our intention.

There is excitement in knowing we are being shown the path, even if going across the threshold into unknown territory gives us butterflies.

I'm sure you've heard the story of the salesman who always earned the same amount of money each month.

Some months he would meet his target early in the month, and nothing happened the rest of the month.

His consciousness of comfort at a certain income level dictated his performance day by day.

The same principle applies to us if we are not willing or don't see our working edge when it shows up.

If we are willing to cross the threshold of our working edge, we create a broader foundation for our life.

We can create more joy, more rewards, and greater fulfillment.

What is your working edge?

What are you being shown that is asking you to go beyond where you have been?

Let me know what your working edge is to you. What area of your life is most challenging at the moment?
