I Won't Hide Anymore

We all create masks for ourselves from an early age. Then we unconsciously use them for the rest of our lives.

There are several kinds of masks, like the happy mask, the sad mask, the angry mask, and the I'm smarter than you mask. You get the point. I'm sure you know what masks you wear in various circumstances. We all have different masks we wear in different circumstances.

The challenge with the masks is they keep us hidden from others.

We might even think the masks we wear are the authentic version of us.

It's an aspect of my life I have known for a long time. However, it has become powerfully clear how I use them in my life.

Our masks are mainly a way to stay safe. At least that's what my ego says. If you can't see me, then you can't hurt me. Which, you can probably guess, is not valid.

I'm taking my masks off because I want you to see me. Iā€™m willing to risk showing you my authentic self.

We might get to have some revealing conversations about possibilities.

Are you in for the experiment of seeing what life has to offer if you take your masks off?

I'd love to have a conversation with you about your masks and what you see as the real you living behind your mask.

Drop me a line at support@howardjparsons.com and tell me about your favourite mask.

Imagine if we had a group virtual call and we all showed up without our masks.
