Access Denied
One of my objectives in writing to you each week is to have you stop and take a look at the state of your life. That’s because I believe taking care of your mental, emotional and spiritual health are critical to living a life you love.
Are not feeling happy, doing the things you love?
Do you talk to yourself constantly about what has to change?
Are you taking any steps to change your circumstances?
If not, then you have been denied access.
Access to the feelings of your heart. Access to your self-awareness. Access to your focus. Access to your presence. Access to your intention for your life.
So, what do you do when you notice you have been denied access?
First, choose what you want in your life. For example, I’ve chosen to work toward my ideal weight.
Second, you must believe you can have the life you design. I see myself in the mirror at my weight goal.
Third, you must give up control. I’m not pushing and fretting about my daily results. I am taking small steps each day to improve my self-awareness of what I eat.
Fourth, you must practice listening to the voice of your heart. This is probably the hardest for most of us because the quiet voice has been shut down for a long time.
The voice of our hearts give us accurate information about what we are doing and how we feel about it.
No matter what, in some form, you have chosen to have the life you are living.
